My name is Milka. I came to my forever home as a foster along with my 10 puppies. I had come in to the mommy's shelter as a very pregnant dog. I gave birth to 11 little puppies but one was stillborn. When my puppies were almost ready to leave me the shelter decided we needed to go into foster care. So mommy and daddy took us home. The puppies all left after 1 week and I stayed behind. I was very timid and very much afraid of people. I so wanted to run away when mommy or daddy tried to put a leash on me. I was scared they were going to beat me with it, but they never did. They just put that thing over my neck and took me for nice long walks. I love long walks. Sometimes I walk with mommy alone and sometimes Russell or one of the other walks with us. It took me a while to warm up to my new family but now I love nothing more than to sit on mommy and daddy and get loved on.
