Animal Shelter of Moore County, NC The Animal Center of Moore
County was completed in July 2002 to provide shelter for the county's unwanted
and stray companion animals.
Moore Human Society, NC
We are a private, non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and improving
the welfare of animals. Our mission is to foster compassion, responsibility,
and respect for all animals through education, legislative activism, and progressive
spay/neuter and adoption programs.
The Haven is
often a Soldier's pet's last best hope for re-homing if foster plans fall apart. The Haven serves Ft. Bragg
one of our largest military bases and is the primary No-Kill Shelter in the area. Most owner surrenders
to The Haven are from military personnel when plans for their pets fall apart.
Solutions
for Animals, NC We visit our area County Shelters regularly and
save the innocent animals that will otherwise be euthanized. The number of
lives saved depends primarily on public donations as we receive no county
